It is finished with a chemical resistant, earth-friendly UV finish. The top is 1" black high pressure laminate. The top also has two grommet holes for threading power cords. The pedestals have 2 file drawers, four smaller drawers and one center pencil drawer. All the drawers lock, except the pencil drawer. The knee space provided is 26"W.
